I am packing for my next engagement – the Grapevine Quilt Rally in Ukiah, California! This weekend is their annual Quilt Show, and I will be teaching two workshops. Join us at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center.

mid September:  Here are some photos from the weekend in Ukiah. First, I flew into the Charles M. Schulz airport in Santa Rosa, California. The artist’s work is honored with several whimsical statues of his cartoon characters – Snoopy, Woodstock, Linus, Lucy & Charlie Brown.

During my stay, the town of Ukiah was also host to the annual Early Iron of Ukiah Car Club’s Fabulous Flashback Car Rally. It was great fun to see the cars parked at the hotel each morning – a perfect weekend in Ukiah with crystal clear skies and plenty of couples who came to see both the cars and the quilts!
