Wow, the weather is terrific here this past couple of weeks \u2013 we feel so\u00a0thankful when we hear of all the troubles and awful weather in other parts of our country.<\/p>\n<p>I am so grateful \u2013 and it made me think \u2013 what are YOU grateful for? How do you treat yourself when you&#8217;ve done a good job and finally get a break?\u00a0 I&#8217;d love to know! As for me \u2013 here is a short list \u2013 and there are many more things \u2013 this is just the things I am thinking of right now!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Faith &#8211; God&#8217;s blessings!<\/li>\n<li>friends and family<\/li>\n<li>health<\/li>\n<li>a home \u2013 a\u00a0roof over my head<\/li>\n<li>food on\u00a0our table<\/li>\n<li>coffee, chocolate, margaritas, salads, fresh berries<\/li>\n<li>the sun on my shoulder<\/li>\n<li>having a sewing studio<\/li>\n<li>sunny bright afternoons\u00a0\u2013 the studio gets great light<\/li>\n<li>having goals to meet<\/li>\n<li>having the energy and perserverance to stick with it until I meet my goal<\/li>\n<li>watching the dogs lulled to a stupor, sleeping on the warm patio<\/li>\n<li>listening to the birds, the breeze in the tree tops<\/li>\n<li>sharing quilts and great\u00a0 ideas with other creative people<\/li>\n<li>feeling satisfaction in hard work<\/li>\n<li>feeling a sense of accomplishment once I complete a difficult, extensive task<\/li>\n<li>a good night&#8217;s sleep<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jankrentz.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/jan_sewing.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-703\" title=\"jan_sewing\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jankrentz.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/jan_sewing.jpg\" alt=\"jan_sewing\" width=\"174\" height=\"118\" \/><\/a>This is an older photo \u2013 look a the project I&#8217;m working on.
